I think that becoming part of the Huskie Service Scholar
Program is a very rewarding experience. I came into contact with people that
were different from me and I learned a lot from them. They helped me to come
out of my shell and become more confident. It is also rewarding to know that
you are helping others in the community. The application process for me was
also easy. It was easy for me to answer the essay questions because I had done
a lot of volunteer work in high school.
